Abstract
The International Federation for Artificial Organs encourages transcontinental cooperation among the three main societies, ESAO-JSAO-ASAIO. This session aims to provide some highlights about research activities from members of these societies and promote discussions about how to learn from each other, opportunities, and differences in each country/continent.
Typically, the IFAO session includes three speakers, but since last year, we decided to include other countries/continents not represented by ESAO-JSAO-ASAIO (e.g. Australia, Asia, South America). These additional 3 speakers can be selected from the list of abstracts received, as the congress organizers deem more appropriate.
